Committee Roles

At each AGM (Annual General Meeting) committee roles can be changed or voted upon- Here is a brief description of the roles:

Chair - Chairs club meetings and makes decisions for the club when needed, in consultation with committee members

Secretary - Arranges the meeting place and admission to club meetings, prepares an agenda, record minutes and keeps the chairperson informed of any matter which may assist or invalidate proceedings.

Membership Secretary - Helps new members to join and answer any membership related questions… or point you in the direction of someone who can answer if they can’t.

Treasurer - Manages the finances of the club, reports on the clubs finances and recent payments to committee members in meetings.

Safeguarding Officer - Ensures everyone is working together safely in the club environment and deals with any issues that may arise.
