Llyn Padarn is a lake in Snowdonia consisting of multiple lagoons as well as a pontoon infront of the main car park. There are numerous slalom gates for paddlers to practice their skills on a flat water environment, and the large scale of this lake allows for numerous drills and games to improve paddler's physicality in the boat. There is parking and a cafe with toilets across the road.
Plas Y Brenin is a lake located in Betws-y-Coed in Snowdonia. It is known as the National Outdoor Centre, and the site itself is great for building skills on flat water with a flow coming in from the above lake to add moving water. The centre has changing rooms, toilets, and a cafe.

Paddlers progress from first starting out on flat water, gradually building up at their own pace to flowing water and white water, while gaining the skills they need to safely and confidently navigate, and read, river rapids and their hazards.
As well as regular training at each of our local sites, we also take trips to other training sites across the UK, where it will benefit paddlers the most, such as Lee Valley, HPP Nottingham, Pinkston WWC, Cardiff WWC.
At these sites we regularly meet up with other Welsh and English clubs, so paddlers get the opportunity to meet other like-minded people to make friends, support each other and train with.
