North Wales Slalom was established in 2015 by Jonathan Davies. The two original training sites were Bala Mill and Chester. The original name of North Wales Slalom was Snowdonia Slalom.
Originally, the club formed because Jonathan was taking Emily (his daughter) onto the canal in Chester, and other people asked to join, training with 3 gates hanging off the bridge.
